As a fundamental part of its ESG approach, at Inmobilia we seek to give back to our communities through collaborating with different associations that can provide financial support, in-kind donations and volunteer hours. In addition, we work closely with local communities in the regions where we operate and strategically invest in community improvement programs, fostering cordial and long-lasting relationships with local communities that allow us to maximize our investments while minimizing disruption to the community while fostering meaningful change where we have a presence and helping to improve the built environment.
In line with this commitment, at the end of 2022 we began with the detection of factors that may contribute to a better approach to our communities and we also began with the development of a Community Involvement Plan to promote this approach and ensure that our actions generate synergies that are beneficial to all.
At Inmobilia we consider our employees as the heart and mistress of the company. That is why we seek to contribute to their integral well-being through a plan of daily activities that aim to meet their real needs.
With this purpose, the Inmobilia Soul initiative was created, which is responsible for accompanying our employees to incorporate a healthy lifestyle into their daily lives, to achieve a positive impact on their physical, mental and emotional well-being. In the same way, through this initiative it is intended to improve the work environment and create work teams that promote a sense of community, social responsibility and recognition of the person, among other things.
The Yucatán Country Club Foundation is a non-profit Private Assistance Institution. We are working in the Chablekal police station and surrounding communities of the Municipality of Mérida.
The foundation's efforts are mainly focused on vulnerable groups of women and children, to whom it seeks to provide the necessary tools for their personal development, training and human formation, thus improving their quality of life and family relationships.
At Inmobilia we believe in the power of new generations to transform the way we build and inhabit our cities. For this reason, a group of young talents from the Company participated in a workshop promoted by the United Nations, where they developed Clean Built, an innovative proposal to improve waste management in construction projects.
Clean Built arises from the recognition that construction waste represents one of the most relevant environmental challenges for the real estate sector. Through this initiative, driven entirely by young collaborators, a practical model was designed to promote the separation, recovery and reuse of waste, generating environmental, social and operational benefits.
The proposal incorporates key elements such as self-sustaining containers, a comprehensive waste management guide and a continuous training scheme for internal teams and suppliers. Its objective is to strengthen a culture of shared responsibility, promote circular economy practices and improve the environmental quality of the communities where we operate.
Clean Built is also aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 11, 12 and 13), reinforcing Inmobilia’s commitment to building cleaner, more resilient and more conscious cities.
